"Dr. Gandara and his team are the truly the best. My owner was concerned when she noticed my back legs were “wobbly” when I walked and decided to have me seen by Dr. Gandara. My owner and I were both really concerned about my wobbly walk but Dr. Gandara took his time talking to us, learning more about how I had been walking. He was really gentle as he examined my legs and after getting an x-ray he was able to tell my owner that my knee caps were sliding out of place which caused my legs to wobble when I walked. Dr. Gandara reassured my owner, there was nothing that happened to me but that this was the way I was born. Unfortunately, the only solution was surgery. One of the best things about Dr. Gandara is that he takes his time with his patients and their owners, he answered all of my owner’s questions about the surgery and my recovery. My owner knew I was in good hands and decided to schedule surgery. Thankfully, surgery went really good. Dr. Gandara was able to fix my knee, so I no longer would have my wobbly walk, but the best part was all of the extra attention and snuggles I got from his wonderful staff as I was waking up after surgery, trust me they are the best!! Once my owner could pick me up, the staff made sure she understood how to take care of me at home. They made sure I had plenty of medication to keep me comfortable and told my owner how to do physical therapy on my knee, she received lots of instructions, but the staff made sure to answer all of her questions before we left. Over the next few days and weeks, he would call to check up on me and to see if my owner had any concerns. Now my leg no longer wobbles when I walk. I can run, jump and play without any problems!! Thank you so much Dr. Gandara for fixing my knee, you are truly the best!! I cannot imagine being cared for by anyone else!!"
