Street View

We are located across old Highway 10 from Northtown Mall between the Anoka County Library and Arby’s.  Our building was built in 1961 as a church.  We are lucky to have such a spacious and solid well-built facility!

Entrance

There is plenty of parking in the back lot but usually spots are open up front by the entrance.  Our friendly staff is available to assist you if needed in carrying kennels or pet food to and from your car.

Check-In /Waiting Room

After a friendly greeting and a weigh-in you will be escorted to an exam room.

Exam Room

We have 5 spacious exam rooms including a cat only room. There is plenty of space for more than one pet and all the family.

Lab

We have lots of diagnostic equipment in here that allows us to get test results quickly.  We may take your companion animal in here to draw blood, administer an injection or clip their nails.  We also use an outside lab when a special case arises.

Treatment or Pre-Op

We use this space for a variety of treatments with our special equipment and supplies nearby.  Pre-Op is also used for dental cleaning and extractions.

Kennels

The kennels are used for cats and dogs that are scheduled for minor procedures or surgery that day.  After a morning surgery or procedure, we make your companion animal as comfortable as possible with lots of towels and a food and water bowl -if okay’d by the doctor.  We monitor and administer care throughout the day until they are cleared by the doctor to go home.  Serious cases will be moved to the emergency clinic for overnight care.

Pharmacy

Many prescriptions can be filled on the spot with our in-house pharmacy.  You can be confident that you are getting the best quality and exact medication and dose that the doctor has prescribed.

Surgery

4 mornings a week you will find Dr. Carlos in here along with a Certified Veterinary Technician.  Everything needed is in here including anesthesia equipment, sterile tools and proper lighting.

Radiology

We have an X-Ray machine and an ultrasound.  Both are very useful tools in diagnosing injuries and illnesses.

Retail Area

We offer a limited selection of prescription foods, high quality pet foods, odor eliminator candles and dental products.  All the products we sell have a history of effectiveness for us and we are very confident that you will be pleased with what we recommend for your companion animals.
